Business Development Consultant

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking candidates to fill Business Development Consultant positions! As a Business Development Consultant at Write Choice Consulting Firm, you will meet one on one with clients and potential clients to develop relationships and grow our client base. Write Choice Consulting Firm is looking for individuals who are committed to growing their careers in the sales and business development field. You’ll also be working closely with the key decision-makers within the company and colleagues working in sales, marketing, and accounts. Expect your role to include the following tasks and areas of responsibility:

Job Responsibilities-

• Be able to meet individual sales quotas and help train others to do the same.
• Learn sales team leadership and development.
• Promote and sell products to current and potential clients within a defined geographical events space.
• Uses functional and technical knowledge of our clients’ products and customer markets to meet or exceed customer needs.
• Establish and maintain excellent communications and sound working relationships with our staff and clientele.
• Actively participate in scheduled company meetings, district, international, and regional conference calls, and other business meetings.
• Identifying new business opportunities.
• Developing leads and contacting potential customers.
• Devising sales strategies and implementing them.
• Meeting face to face with existing customers regularly.
• Keeping up to date with trends within your sector.
• Liaising with colleagues and making sure aims are shared and worked towards.
• Making sure targets are met periodically.
• Generating reports and presenting an analysis of marketing and sales progress.

Qualification-

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• Experience in fund development, contracts, organizational development is preferred but not required.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and close sales.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• The drive to succeed and the ability to thrive in a dynamic sales/ business development environment.
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required.

Grant Writer Consultant

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Grant Writer Consultant(s) is to help the CEO raise funds for the active clients in various locations that are both regional and international; through grant writing, donor and corporate outreach, and fundraising events.

• Coordinate with the CEO to develop and implement a grant-writing strategy for clients.
• Write and submit grant applications to private, public, federal and corporate funders.
• Arrange and attend meetings with potential individual and corporate donors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Must have a successful grant writing portfolio.
• Passionate about creating a positive impact in the lives of those who are disenfranchised
• Demonstrated experience and success with grant writing for nonprofit organizations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and proactive personality
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact well with staff members, members of the community, media outlets, and donors
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint; experience with Adobe Photoshop preferred
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
